To make sure every bidder gets a fair shot at winning an item, we use a method of bidding known as “Extended Bidding" or “Popcorn Bidding", which means, if a bid is placed in the final three (3) minutes before an item closes, the closing time will automatically be extended by three (3) minutes. This makes it impossible to “snipe” an item at the last second. By eliminating sniping, nonprofits and bidders benefit from a bidding process that is fair and will ensure that an item goes to the highest bidder, not the fastest bidder.
